Pathetic condition of Marriage Hall locatd at Baba Demb, Naqashpora has irked people of the area who have urged the local MLA to intervene and to restore the beautification of the marriage hall.

According to locals, though it appears nice when one looks at it, having good space insid e and outside. The real picture is in contrast to what appears to us. If we sum up our observation after having first hand information, it would be: "The colour of walls of ground floor is totally in worst condition presenting horrific look. How could one dream of inviting guests to such a dirty place." The locals said a room in ground floor supposed to be used appears to be burnt down. The walls are now black in colour.

They said the halls either of ground floor or first floor where the guests are supposed to sit too are discoloured. " The corridors of building are not good than a public lavatory. There exists an open pit on the back side that too having diameter more than 12 feet. During marriage functions children form part of it. It poses high risk to life of children and even adults.

How could government turn blind eye to such lapses", said locals. It appears that government hasn’t spent a penny after the floods of 2014 on facelift of this marriage hall. " we are asked to pay 20000 rupees for booking it. But who would book this place," said a local.
